1888 Management, LLC islooking for an experienced Client-Focused IT Manager to provide strategic direction for all technology-related initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity that will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. This role plays a crucial part in aligning IT strategies with the overall business objectives, ensuring efficient and secure IT operations.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Strategic IT Planning: Own digital transformation, infrastructure, support, network operations, and security technology operations.
  • IT Infrastructure management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software. Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems.
  • Client-Centric IT Support: Serve as the primary liaison between the IT department and internal/external clients, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues and proactive communication to manage expectations effectively.
  • Innovative Solutions: Continuously identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in IT systems and processes, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance productivity, security, and user experience.
  • User Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and create educational materials to empower staff with the knowledge and skills needed to maximize the utilization of IT resources effectively.
  • Cyber Security: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's data and systems for threats and breaches.
  • Project Management: Oversee IT projects, from planning to resource allocation to execution and monitoring, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Maintain project documentation and communicate status to key stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts and MSA's. Evaluate and recommend third party solutions and services as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, procedures, and protocols, and generate regular reports to track key performance indicators and inform decision-making processes.

A Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Characteristics:

Proven experience in IT leadership roles, with a track record of successful IT strategy development and execution with a strong emphasis on client-facing interactions.

  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be a strong business partner and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in operating systems, networking protocols, cloud services, and productivity software. In-depth knowledge of Office365 and Apple-IOS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovate in response to evolving business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
