The On Call CSR is responsible for taking detailed truckload orders from customers, verifying customer expectations, and accurately entering TL orders in Truckmate. The On Call CSR is also responsible for working nights and weekends in an on-call capacity to monitor the status of all active TL and final mile shipments and monitor all after hours phone calls and other customer and carrier needs.

Compensation: starting at $52,502.10 - $60,393.80 depending on experience

What does the job look like daily?

• Follows multiple account specific SOP’s for properly communicating after business hours activities including clear directive on next steps when handing off to team members
• Demonstrates problem resolution and good decision making with little or no supervision
• Traces truckload shipments daily.
• Assist with billing and pre-billing requirements
• Update TMS timely
• Document retrieval and cataloguing
• Regular communication with colleagues and customers
• Identify shipments in jeopardy of meeting pick-up and delivery parameters and escalates accordingly
• Backs up and performs as a broker for covering freight for distressed clients as needed

• Handle customer problems including missed pick-ups, late deliveries, additional charges, etc.

Knowledge and Skills to be successful?

• Experience working in customer service and/or broker position and the various modes of transportation and service levels
• Ability to work independent and make difficult decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite software
