KOCH Finishing Systems is Hiring a Welder/Fabricator Near Caledonia, MI
Schedule: Day Shift 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
Pay: $22
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols of fabrication
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- Assemble and weld structures, sub-assemblies and be responsible for filing, burring and welding
- Set up and operate fabricating machines to cu, form, punch and drill components
- Rely on experience and judgement to plan maximizing material and meeting schedule
- Work in a team environment to achieve quality and quantity according to customer needs
- Maintain a clean and safe work space
- Safely operator all equipment (hoist, crane, forklift, etc)
- Operate and maintain MIG welder without supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experienced or technical training as a structural welder with the ability to join, fabricate and weld metal tube and pipe
