Kocian Law Group is currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. Offices are in Hartford , Manchester and New Britain Ct. Applicants must reside in the Greater Hartford area.
Responsibilities include:
· representing clients in personal injury litigation and other legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, and advising clients on legal transactions.
· Managing an assigned case load from inception to case conclusion
· Managing assigned paralegal and staff
· Settlement of cases
· Consulting with other firm attorneys on case strategies
· Participation in weekly firm meetings including statute list review, case reviews and other strategic conferences
· pre-suit activities, discovery, retention of necessary experts, reparation of witnesses for testimony, necessary motion practice and coordination of cases from start to finish
· Providing legal representation for clients, including trying cases in all courts and agencies,
· compliance with all ethical requirements for profession
·
Education and Experience:
Experience in negotiation, case management and strong interpersonal skills required.
