Position: Accounting Manager

Location: Miami, Florida

Salary: Up to $140,000

What You Will Do

• Oversee daily accounting operations and the monthly closing process for multiple real estate projects.
• Consolidate and analyze financial outcomes across various development projects.
• Examine monthly budgets and cash flow forecasts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and manage monthly funding draws.
• Assist the team in reconciling commissions and deposit accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports and handle ad hoc requests.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• At least five (5) years of experience, including management experience. Big 4 experience is a plus.
• CPA required.
• Proven ability to manage accounting for multiple real estate projects.
• Proficiency in posting general ledger journal entries.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing construction budgets.
• Knowledge of technical accounting research, financial statements, and related disclosures.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with financial systems.
