Job DescriptionKoester Construction is looking to add a full-time carpenter who is willing to travel to our self-perform team. Koester Construction is a commercial general contractor, known for its culture of teamwork and integrity. Commercial construction carpentry experience is required, and a positive attitude is a must.
A valid Iowa driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this position. The applicant must be physically able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs, be on time, and dependably show up for work each day. Pay will be based on experience and skill set.

- Physically able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, sit, stand, kneel, and walk on uneven terrain
- Ability to climb ladders and work at height
- Valid driver's license (must be insurable)
- Reliable transportation, punctuality, and reliability
- Must own basic hand tools, and have the ability to use/operate basic carpentry tools

- Lift, push, pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Use hand and power tools to perform tasks as assigned
- Perform sustained physical labor, including standing, walking, and crouching
- Perform work at height, including climbing ladders
- Perform work in confined or awkward spaces
- Read printed and digital materials
- Communicate professionally, both verbal and written communication
- Adhere to all safety standards
