POSITION SUMMARY
The Employee Capital Services (“ECS”) team, which is a new team at KKR, works closely with KKR’s Finance, Legal, Compliance and Human Capital teams to manage the full range of discretionary investment offerings for eligible employee participants and key strategic partners. The team leads the creation, administration and compliance of equity and credit offerings including KKR’s private investment funds, third-party funds managed by KKR’s strategic partners, and portfolio company investments. Employee Capital Services plays a critical role in ensuring that KKR is able to continue to attract and retain the strongest possible talent around the world. The mission of the team also ensures that KKR retains its longstanding tradition of strong monetary alignment with external clients.
The formation of ECS represents the consolidation and evolution of a number of capabilities pertaining to employee exposure to KKR investment opportunities managed across several different teams, including Finance, Human Capital, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Client Services and the Client & Partner Group. ECS will enable KKR to create a leading internal advisory and execution platform for global investing. One of KKR’s fundamental investment philosophies since inception in 1976 has been to align the interests of the firm and its employees with the interests of fund investors, portfolio companies and other stakeholders. The firm achieves this by encouraging eligible employees to commit their own capital to KKR investment funds.
The formation of ECS and this newly created role are part of a broader transformation that KKR is embarking on to achieve scale to meet our ambitious growth targets.
