2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2 : 00 PM-10 : 00 PM (some flexibility)

• Salvage industrial scraps and give them new life as one-of-a-kind bathroom sinks.
• Showcase your artistry and craftsmanship while reducing waste.
• Help Kohler make beauty utility; make utility beautiful.

Specific Responsibilities

• Gathering, sorting, and processing of Industrial waste materials in preparation for use both for production and development purposes.
• Preparation of vitreous China batches, foundry materials, bathtub scraps, and resins for casting of lavatory sinks.
• Forming Casting resin lavatory sinks within plastic molds.
• Transport of molds and finished ware.
• Finishing & Inspection dry finishing, sanding, painting, shaping, hand coating.
• General cleaning and maintenance of Waste Lab.
• Follow department safety rules.

Skills / Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work hands-on as a craftsman and must be capable of learning new crafts and must be capable of learning new craftsman skills.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly.
• Must be capable of basic math and written communication in English.
• Must be prepared to work closely with others in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with ambiguity.
