Kohler Company, the #1 rated consumer brand in plumbing manufacturing and consumer services, is looking for sales leaders for their Walk-in-Bath and Shower Systems teams in Wisconsin. This is a newly created team where you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with our end consumers and bring their bath & showering space dreams to life!

The Sales Manager will be responsible for executing a business plan with sales objectives in support of the business’s financial and non-financial goals.Additionally, the Sales Manager is the leadership interface between the Operations and Sales Departments and is a member of the management team for the business location.

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing, mentoring, and leading a team of sales professionals (Kohler Design Sales Consultants) by setting and clarifying associate objectives, managing ongoing performance, and continuously developing team skills.The Sales Manager elevates and protects the KOHLER brand by promoting and ensuring compliance to approved sales policies, methodologies, and values.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Hiring, onboarding, training, and development of Design Sales Consultants utilizing established training processes and philosophy.
  • Managing the execution of the approved sales methodology by Design Sales Consultant team with the goal of earning a contract at the conclusion of sales presentations.
  • Development and management of sales practices that prioritize exemplary customer experience, including timely arrival to appointments, timely recording of appointment results, accurate sales documentation and reporting, and finished job documentation that allows for the success of each project.
  • Proper and timely maintenance and management of customer data and customer down payments.
  • Maintain all aspects of contact and communication with potential customers as established in Company Guidelines to Create Delightful Consumer Experiences, including team appearance, sales tools, automobiles, etc. The KOHLER name and brand is associated with excellence, and we expect the customer experience to be the same.
  • Train, coach, and motivate Design Sales Consultant team to meet or exceed sales targets while following the Kohler sales methodology.
  • Work with marketing, administrative, and production teams to ensure a seamless consumer experience.
  • Track consumer trends to make product offering recommendations to senior management and product development teams.
  • Maintain price integrity in all consumer interactions by managing pricing strategy and auditing quoted work.
  • Commitment to excellence in all aspects.
  • Have knowledge within the building or remodeling industry and be able to transfer that knowledge over to the Design Sales Consultants.
