This position contributes to the profitabilityof the Fitness Studios pillar of the Hospitality group as related to retailspaces and related duties, stocking, inventory processing functions (from orderingto accepting goods to inputting information), maintaining retail areas and sanitationstandards. The Studio Manager must beable to readily forge relationships with members, guests, co-workers andvendors. As a manager, responsibilitiesalso include personnel related duties such as staff meetings, assisting with schedulingneeds, and coaching and developing associates.

Specific Responsibilities

• Manage outlet P&L, ensure profitability and cost controls to achieve pre-tax margin.
• Maintain safety protocols for associates and guests.
• Maintain aesthetic standards in all front-of-house areas including retail racks and displays.
• Manage social media accounts and marketing campaigns.
• Manage events and programming.
• Manage special-order needs and communicate details to Director-Wellness, Hospitality.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained related to equipment as well as all back of house areas. Ordering cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Responsible for controlling operating expenses to meet operating income projections. Includes accurate transaction processing, order fulfillment and advertising/marketing efforts while working closely with the Director-Wellness, Hospitality on creativity of campaigns.
• Monitor and maintain back-of house inventory levels and front-of-house aesthetics.
• Manage training and ongoing education of associates. Establish timelines and maintain records of trainings.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings. Work with Director-Wellness, Hospitality to develop agenda, issue post meeting notes and follow through on all discussions and decisions.
• Manage class scheduling for Instructors along with scheduling for Facility Attendants and custodial team.
• Working with current associates on development and provide coaching when needed.
• Oversee and/or initiate disciplinary action when performance or behavioral standards are not being met.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and thorough performance reviews.
• Training new associates on Mind Body Online and respective studio procedures.

Skills/Requirements

• High school diploma is required. Associates degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• CPR certification required; training provided on site.
• Computer experience required specific to department needs.
• Must be knowledgeable about costing goods and inventory control.
• Must possess strong communication skills, friendly, outgoing demeanor, high degree of accuracy and appropriate level of urgency to effectively execute all inherent duties in a timely manner.
• Requires strong organizational skills and ability to multi task. Must maintain knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Specificto Bold Cycle:

• Requires competition of internal training course.
• Achieve liquor licensing and complete Serve Safe course within two months of hire date and maintain throughout employment.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $80,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
