Komar Industries, Inc. is Hiring a PROJECT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Near Groveport, OH
Job DescriptionEssential Duties:
Heavy machinery design and application of engineering practices that incorporate both electric and hydraulic drives
Generate detailed drawings for manufacturing
Project management
Interaction with production and engineering personnel to design utilizing best practices
Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required
3 – 7 years of engineering experience required
Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
FEA and simulation experience preferred
Understanding of weldments and machining tolerances
Experience in manufacturing/machine design
Industrial hydraulics experience preferred
Good understanding of engineering design concepts, and material properties
Ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to receive and retain instructions in a productive manner; ability to prioritize, keep multiple projects and tasks on schedule
Ability to solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Demonstrated ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines
Work Environment: Full-time onsite inside office environment. Average office noise levels. No personal protective equipment is required, with the exception of occasional visits to the shop.
