Job Overview Provides equipment and/or parts transport service, loads/unloads and operates equipment as required to ensure prompt, courteous, safe delivery of equipment and parts. Key Job Responsibilities
- L oads, delivers and unloads equipment and parts as required. Primary responsibility for regional deliveries. Performs transport services in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain a current operating knowledge of equipment represented by the company
- Meets DOT regulations, safety standards and certifications needed to operate company vehicles.
- Operate vehicles/equipment safely including daily inspections and accurate logs and general maintenance and cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
- Completes paperwork and records promptly, accurately and legibly
- Has current knowledge of required permits, CDL and DOT regulations, load securing procedures, acts as resource for other local drivers.
- Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and professional manner. Complies with company policies and dress code.
- Other tasks as assigned to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient branch operations
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Class A CDL, with clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
