Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our medical team. The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to patient care.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations following established protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal imaging
- Analyze images to ensure high-quality diagnostic information is captured
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret results and provide preliminary findings
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold patient confidentiality
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions
- Proven experience as an Ultrasonographer or Sonographer
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and understanding imaging principles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
- Attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and interpretation Preferred Skills:
- Experience with abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, or other specialized ultrasound procedures
