Description

Kondex Corporation is looking for a Laser Clad Operator II to join the Straw Chopper area.

Current opening on 2nd shift

2nd shift hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs.

Training will take place on 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30 pm for approximately 10 weeks.

• Set-up and operate all elements of the robotic laser clad cell and meet predetermined rates.
• Read prints and routings.
• Follow established machine settings and parameters.
• Perform lock-out tag-out on equipment.
• Perform basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices.
• Operate lift devices such as boom crane and hand jack.
• Close orders in computer system.
• Perform 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
• May assist in training full time, part time or temporary associates in the department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, prints, and inspection criteria.
• Ability to learn more complex equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Prior robotics experience is preferred.
