Princeton, MN | Contract to Hire | $17.00 - $27.00CNC Machinist Job Duties:
  • Experience with either CNC mill or lathe
  • Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans; interpret GD&T.
  • Set up mills and lathes; install and adjust chucks, tools, attachments, and other components.
  • Load feed mechanism by positioning stock.
  • Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and samples.
  • Maintain specifications by observing operations, taking measurements, troubleshooting, and adjusting controls.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment; troubleshoot and call for repairs as needed.
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
  • Experience in an apprenticeship or machinist program is ideal, but not required if training or experience qualifies the candidate.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, and manage equipment and supplies.
  • Technical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of controls, instrumentation, tooling, and inventory management.
  • Experience with Solidworks is essential; CAMWork experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CNC equipment such as Doosan (Four Axis), DMG Mori (3, 4, and 5 Axis) is a plus.
