About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Human Capital and Operations to lead its global HR, IT, and Security functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic design and execution of the company's HR, IT, and Security priorities in line with its needs, culture, and values. This role involves overseeing the heads of each department, ensuring their teams' support aligns with organizational expectations, and collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to advise on issues impacting the organization as a whole. The Managing Director will also work with the Legal function to establish clear policies and procedures, provide oversight on global expansion, and manage the organization's risk and duty of care policies.Applicants must have a minimum of a BA, with 10 to 15 years' experience in leadership roles, including significant oversight of international and domestic HR. Experience in a complex multi-national nonprofit with multiple programs is essential, as is the ability to manage, develop, and mentor staff. The role requires a strategic understanding of HR, Security, and IT compliance issues, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to ensure adherence to compliance expectations across the HR, IT, and Security functions. The Managing Director will be expected to lead the HR team in recruitment, retention, and the implementation of DEIB priorities, as well as to work with the IT Director on a broad IT strategy and greater automation, and with the Security Director on a growth strategy for the Security team.
