Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Assistant Controller.
Company Description:
Assistant Controller for an Industrial / Wholesale organization located in North Detroit Metro; hybrid (4 days/week in office).
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory & COGS tracking; maintain asset depreciation and amortization schedules
- Prepare 1099's
- Generate monthly GAAP-based financial statements; manage the annual budgeting process
- Reconcile daily bank activity for multiple bank accounts
- Post / reconcile daily Shopify, Amazon, PayPal and credit card activity into QuickBooks Online
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable
- Manage sales tax filings/remittances
Qualifications:
- Inventory costing and variance analysis experience
- Well versed in Shopify
- Experience owning daily bookkeeping tasks, generating financial statements
- CPA license, public accounting experience strongly preferred
Salary Range: $120-$140k bonus
