Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for Associate Graphic Designer.

Job Purpose

The Associate Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in supporting the creative and production processes within the company. This position involves developing and executing design concepts for seasonal catalogs, collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality production of graphic materials, and maintaining consistent communication with overseas vendors. The Associate Graphic Designer contributes to the overall visual strategy, ensuring that all designs meet brand standards and project requirements. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of creativity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design seasonal catalogs based on seasonal offerings(mainline and wholesale).
• Create detailed flat sketches, including stitches and seaming details, for catalogs and technical packs.
• Develop Artwork Tech Packs for factory production, including color pitches and repeats for graphics and all-over prints.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to review and provide feedback on color strike-offs, communicating comments to all vendors.
• Scale graphics appropriately for various size ranges: Toddler, Youth, Adult.
• Maintain daily communication with overseas vendors regarding graphics, packaging, and artwork specifics.
• Collaborate with the internal creative team to develop graphic or print concepts and ideas for each season, aligned with current directions and trends.
• Design custom project company graphics and monthly company stickers.

Skill Requirements

• Possess a strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a foundational understanding of print and graphic manufacturing processes, as well as various print techniques.
• Understand fabrics and how different prints and dyes interact with various types of fabrications.
