Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for a Controller. This position will be based in S. Florida with a hybrid schedule. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, which included general accounting, accounts payable and financial analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation.
• Mentor and develop staff.
• Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies to ensure adequate internal controls.
• Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports and analysis for the management and executive teams.
• Timely and accurate monthly closings and reporting
• Mange the annual audits
• Special projects on an as needed basis

• Experienced in developing and mentoring staff.

Education and Experience:

• Certified Public Accountant
• 12-15 Years Accounting Experience (with a mix of public and private accounting)
• Experience with a multinational entity.
• Strong accounting knowledge
• Collaborator who can work independently.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish
• Excellent Interpersonal relationships and communication skills
• High commitment level and responsibility
• MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
