Korn Ferry has recently partnered with an established USA start-up organization who is providing world-class smart energy management solutions scalable within the e-Mobility landscape offering a rapid charging experience for electric vehicles (EV) in public and commercial transportation. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will be based in Atlanta, GA to join our client’s customer operations team supporting North America clients. This critical hire will serve as an interface to execute the after-sales activities, project management and secure the operations & technical relationships with distributors, service partners and CPO’s.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and execute EV Infrastructure projects and contracts on-time and within budget
• Function as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point providing support to have industry-leading service
• Regular reporting on progressions, customer requests, installed equipment, product performance, and final project completion.
• Responsible for organizing the logistics related with company product, spare parts, and warehouse stock
• Provide support and skills to onsite commissioning activities including site testing as necessary
• Support company operations team on deployment, testing, and CPO’s feedback
• Ensure operations is capable of fast responsiveness

BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors’ degree Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline required.
• At least four (4) years of experience as a customer-facing Operations engineer (project manager) preferably within the following industries: renewable energy (wind or solar power), battery storage manufacturing, transit, DC chargers, and/or electronics installation sector.
• Candidate must have aptitude and desire to troubleshoot hardware software, invertors, electronics, wiring, and cooling systems.
• PMP or PMI Certification(s) highly desired / Knowledge of project financing and project management methodologies is a strong advantage; must have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills to include verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS office and PM software.
• Must be able to work legally in the USA on a full-time permanent basis with no travel or work restrictions.
• Role requires in-office presence Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to work remote portion of day only.
