Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Accountant. The position will support the accounting activities and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policies. The ideal candidate will possess a solid operational and technical accounting background and proactively work to drive results. A successful candidate will be goal-oriented and be able to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up Contracts, Jobs, and Projects required for Job Costing and Project Accounting.
• Assist with billing and invoicing transactions.
• Assist with Accounts Payable disputes and issues.
• Responsible for Percentage of Completion and Work-in-Process Accounting for Service and Construction projects
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting transactions.
• Perform month-end closing tasks.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Perform Revenue, Cost, and Expense variance analysis.
• Generate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reports for Management.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4 years working as a Staff and/or Sr. Accountant
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Outlook & Word)
• Possess critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• CPA designation a plus
• Experience with Sage a plus!
