GENERAL SUMMARY:
To demonstrate a warm, outgoing personality with the ability to work under pressure while exhibiting a professional image. Accurately and efficiently performs described duties. Contributes to the throughput of patients by demonstrating a team environment.
Education and Formal Training Required:
Must have a high school degree or the equivalent.
Coursework in medical terminology and/or anatomy preferred.
Must hold current certification as a certified code such as CPC-Certified Professional Coder, or an equivalent.
Experience Required:
Prior receptionist/secretarial experience preferred.
Prior physician office experience preferred.
Licensure Required:
Indiana Drivers License
