Job Summary:

As a Maintenance, you will be involved in the upkeep of residential apartment properties managed by our company. Your responsibilities include routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and other tasks for common areas and residential units within our buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine property maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Adhere to KOST maintenance guidelines and follow standard operating procedures by deferring to the Maintenance Director and management staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment within the properties.
• Communicate maintenance items effectively with property managers, tenants, and team members.
• Document maintenance activities using KOST standard operating procedures.
• Ensure safety compliance by following safety guidelines.
• Adhere to all city and state laws, prioritizing tenant and property safety.

Skills Required:

• General knowledge of maintenance systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Effective communication skills with property managers, tenants, and team members.
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely task completion.
• Proficient technological skills for logging work orders in our management software.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure no maintenance issues are overlooked.
• Adaptability to potential changes within the company.
• Safety awareness and adherence to protocols for a secure working environment.
• Strong teamwork, collaborating with maintenance professionals and effectively communicating and cooperating with various departments within the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
