Responsibilities: 

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, etc...
• Building and taking down forms and temporary structures.
• Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.
• Operate hand and power tools. Various duties such as: shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely dumping trucks.
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
• Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.

Accountable For:

• Communicate to supervisor regarding job needs- Materials, Equipment, and Manpower.
• Maintain a Positive Work Environment and Team Player Attitude.
• Attend weekly safety meetings (agenda provided) and enforce safety procedures.
• Keep equipment clean and maintained daily.

Requirements:

• Experience in construction industry required.
•  Must have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Ability to work in variety of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• Qualified individuals will be expected to show up every day on time when work is scheduled.
• Background check and drug testing.
• Occasional week day travel may be required.
