Kover is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Miami, FL

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of general tasks to support the efficient functioning of our office environment. From managing incoming calls to overseeing inventory and assisting with special projects, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of our company's operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.

2. Greet visitors at the front door and provide assistance as needed, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience.

3. Manage inventory levels and reorder warehouse supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.

4. Procure office supplies, including stationary, equipment, and other essentials, to support daily operations.

5. Coordinate the ordering and stocking of kitchen and cleaning supplies to ensure a clean and organized workspace.

6. Provide administrative support to executives and staff members, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.

7. Assist with special projects and personal tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and discretion.

8. Prepare and ship samples to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery.

9. Assist with basic IT troubleshooting and liaise with external IT support as needed.

10. Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, including liaising with vendors and service providers.

11. Organize and maintain office filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval of documents.

12. Assist with event planning and coordination, including meetings, conferences, and company outings.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is preferred.

2. Previous experience in an office support role or similar position is advantageous.

3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

7. Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges.

9. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.

10. Candidate must have excellent command in English, speaking, reading and writing.
