Job DescriptionKP ContractingOutside Sales ConsultantThis position is located in La Plata, MD. Qualified candidates must be willing & able to commute to La Plata, MDPosition Summary: KP Contracting is seeking an ambitious and driven Construction Sales Consultant to follow up on company and self-generated leads to convert them to customers. The Sales Consultant will follow up on leads, set up home appointments, provide Outdoor Living design consulting services, develop budgets/proposals, and, most importantly, close deals.
About the Company: KP Contracting creates luxurious Outdoor Living Spaces and is Southern Marylands premier contractor for decks, paver patios, hardscapes, outdoor structures, Screened Porches, Plunge Pools, and more. KP Contracting, LLC is rapidly growing with nearly 300% growth in 2022, and is on track to double again this coming year.

Performance Objectives:
  • Maximize sales opportunities by setting up and scheduling 12 to 16 home appointments with prospective customers each week.
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified prospects using Hubspot Sales Pro and perform a daily review of leads and lead sources.
  • Guide customers in the design of luxury outdoor living spaces that best meet their needs
  • Obtain a Maryland Home Improvement Salespersons license within 60 days
  • Meet daily KPIs and monthly/quarterly Sales Targets.
  • Be a contributing member of the Sales Team in revenue, culture, and brand image.
  • Communicate the companys value propositions to prospective homeowners
  • Have a strong desire to excel in a sales-driven environment
  • Daily sales drills and other company-wide training

  • Basic knowledge of the Construction and Home Improvement industry
Education and Experience:
  • GED or high school diploma preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a sales-related position
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Due to the nature of the job, the salesperson must be able to walk the outdoor property of prospective clients and be able to kneel and look under existing outdoor structures.
  • This position will require travel - up to 5%

Compensation/Benefits:
  • Base Salary plus commissions
  • $90,000 to $250,000 per year
  • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Plan
