**Our client offers a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days a week in office.

The Role:

The Software Engineer will have the opportunity ofworking in a group of very dynamic and talented professionals primarily locatedin Charlotte, Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Phoenix, who are responsible fordeveloping and supporting Talent Acquisition applications used byour 280,000 team members and 84 lines of business. Over time, you will haveopportunities to work with many different applications and learn differentfacets of HR practices. When you are ready, we also offer you the ability togrow within the company, either within the Technology group oranother corporate or business function.

We are seeking a SeniorSoftware Engineer that excels with Workday who will be responsible for thedesign and implementation of recruiting requirements to ensure the integrityand availability of the Workday/HR Systems. This is a hybrid work environment -working in the office and working from home.


In this role, you will:

Acts as a liaisonbetween client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, anddirecting the analysis and engineering of highly complex, strategic,corporate-wide business problems to be solved with automated systems.
Acts in a technical roleproviding technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients,and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including butnot limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications,Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
Design, code, test, debugand document programs using Agile development practices.
Provides the strategyand design for projects associated with their technology domain including,upgrades and deployments.
Utilizes advancedtechnologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with othertechnology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneousenvironments.
Develops newdocumentation and departmental technical procedures. Directs the gathering ofperformance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communicationtools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and systemavailability targets.
Assures quality,security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

Requirements

4 years of SoftwareEngineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combinationof the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3 years' experienceworking with Human Resources Workday technology solutions.
3 years of technologyrelease or implementation experience
3 years working in anAgile Scrum Environment
2 years of businesssystems analysis or design experience

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge andunderstanding / hands on experience with HR SaaS implementation experience
Experience with bothdomestic and international talent acquisition processes
Leadership skillsincluding the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
Experience with AgileScrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) andKanban
Experience with one ormore Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluenceor Jira.
A BS/BA degree or higherin information technology
Project managementexperience working on application development projects.
Experience in meetingfacilitation and issue resolution.
Excellent communicationskills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
Experience working in avirtual environment with internal and external teams.
