ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY CIVIL/EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow their career in a dynamic legal environment. Join us in advocating for our clients' best interests and making a positive impact in the legal field. We are seeking 1-2 dedicated attorneys with a minimum of 3-6 years’ experience. The ideal candidates must have excellent research, writing, law and motion skills and trial preparation experience. Must have ability to work independently and manage case load for our growing practice that specializes in commercial, real estate, intellectual property, and employment litigation.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Correspond and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts
- Conduct legal research (Westlaw) and analysis in various practice areas
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Draft legal documents including discovery, motions, briefs
- Work on all aspects of pretrial, trial, post-trial
- Provide appeals and trial support
Education and Experience Requirements
- Admitted to practice in California and in good standing with the California State Bar
- 3-6 years of litigation experience
- Strong academics and solid work history
- State and Federal court experience
Skills and Abilities Requirements
- Must possess strong research (including Westlaw), writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in commercial, real estate, intellectual property and/or employment litigation
- Strong background in negotiating settlements and agreements
