Job Title: Enterprise Architect Consultant

Client Location: Chicago, IL-Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Enterprise Architect Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing comprehensive technical solutions for a variety of projects encompassing web and mobile development, CRM, CMS, and digital marketing. The role demands a broad skill set spanning enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture, development architecture, and hands-on expertise in full-stack development.

Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Architecture Design:

• Develop and implement strategic enterprise architecture solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical architectures.

1. Systems Architecture:

• Design and document systems architecture that supports the organization's objectives.
• Ensure systems are interoperable, scalable, and maintainable over the long term.

1. Integration Architecture:

• Create integration strategies that facilitate seamless communication between diverse systems.
• Oversee the implementation of integration solutions to ensure consistency and efficiency.

1. Development Architecture:

• Define and enforce best practices for software development, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and guide them in implementing robust solutions.

1. Oversight and Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor technical engineers across various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards and guidelines.

1. Full Stack Development:

• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in full-stack development, with proficiency in open-source technologies and front-end engineering.
• Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

1. Consulting and Implementation:

• Leverage extensive consulting experience to advise clients on technical strategies and solutions.
• Act as a trusted resource, providing guidance on projects related to Salesforce, Infrastructure, Security, CMS, Web/Front End, Full Stack, ERP, Data, and Advanced Integrations.
• Maintain oversight of solution architecture for all in-flight projects and proposals.

1. Additional Qualifications:

• Responsibilities include overseeing teams, processes, and functions supporting IT applications.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with both business and development stakeholders.
• Provide clear guidance on technology and architecture across the project portfolio.

1. Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and/or participate in executing design and delivery with teams on multiple and diverse application disciplines across various platform systems.
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to align technology investments with business goals.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks aligning with the organization's strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, with a strong background in web and mobile development, CRM, CMS, and digital marketing.
• Strong consulting and implementation experience across diverse platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture, and development architecture.
• Hands-on experience in full-stack development with expertise in open-source technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing and mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Minimum of 8 years as an Enterprise Architect, demonstrating expertise from strategic planning through to the solution continuum, particularly within Telecommunications, Information Technology, and/or relevant industries.
• 2 years of experience in consulting organizations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills.
• Experience in modeling and graphic representations.
