GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for safeguarding the production processes and ensuring process integrity. Manage the Company chemical inventory.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform pull-down process IAW company requirements
- Complete conformal coating of CCA’s and modules
- Support rework on required units by assisting with removal of conformal coating
- Ensure coating assembly book is updated to show correct coating procedures for all boards
- Identify efficiency opportunities for task related processes
- Provide technical assistance during project implementation; documenting and tracking results
- Provide technical support to resolve plant process and equipment problems
- Investigate process problems; provide recommendations and assistance in implementing corrective actions
- Review process and/or equipment change requests to ensure that proposed changes conform to company technical and safety standards
- Participate in the root cause analysis investigation of operational incidents and support development of preventive and corrective actions
- Review and approve standard operating procedures
- Monitor and maintain the alcohol and degreaser tanks
- Responsible for all chemicals on the production floor
- Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD
- Manage and maintain chemical inventory
- Assist in training personnel on safety related topics
- Assist in purchasing of products and services as needed
- Other duties may be assigned

- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
- Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
- Ability to adhere to workplace rules
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, basic schematics, work instructions and component identifications
- Ability to work with production ovens, solder paste stencil, degreasers, and other tools of the trade
- Ability to work with minute parts and demonstrate finger dexterity
- Ability to complete accurate measuring techniques for conformal coating
- Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Strong and pronounced problem solving and analytical skills
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate level of MS Excel and MS Word
- Must be able to obtain 40 hour HAZWOPER certificate
- Working knowledge of MRPs preferred
- Production environment
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (use of arm-hand steadiness, finger dexterity, manual dexterity for small parts assembly, frequent use)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- 20/20 vision and color vision with or without corrective lenses
