Job Description:


Kratos is seeking an Administrative Services/Recruiting Coordinator to join the Corporate team at our San Diego location. This position is onsite.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Provides front office administrative and clerical support. Provides administrative support to the human resources function.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Maintains security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception front lobby desk.
  • Greets and welcomes visitors as soon as they arrive, determines reason for their visit, and assists as needed.
  • Screen visitors through Visual Compliance, maintains visitor logs, and assigns/collects ID badges as needed.
  • Coordinating with the Talent Acquisition Team to schedule interviews and travel
  • Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities related to Talent Acquisition.
  • May prepare special reports, affirmative action plans, Talent Acquisition Reporting using ATS.
  • Responsible for checking the HR General voicemail box and forwarding messages appropriately.
  • Sorts incoming mail and delivers mail to appropriate individuals/departments as needed.
  • Assists with shipping items via FedEx account.
  • May assist with written correspondence, reports, job descriptions, etc.
  • Works under supervision
  • Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
  • May coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail.
  • Operates automated office equipment.
  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Must be professional, dependable and customer service oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
  • Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge skills and abilities as it pertains to your job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent; and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Front office environment
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
