We have immediate openings for entry level from 0 to 2 years experience Modeler/Drafter.

An A.S. degree in Drafting and Design Technology or the equivalent is required.

The drafter/modeler shall have a working knowledge of drafting methods, procedures and techniques.

Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering. He/she shall also possess a working knowledge of Siemens NX or PTC CREO 3D CAD software. PLM software: Team Center or Windchill and SAP experience is desirable.

• Performs duties under established procedures.
• Normally receives detailed instructions and works under close supervision.
• May work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage.
• Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and has little or no role in decision-making.
• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.

A drafter/modeler must have the skills and experience to perform the following tasks:

• Prepare models and detail drawings of moderately complex to complex parts.
• Prepare models and drawings of moderately complex to complex assemblies and subassemblies.
• Work closely with engineering to incorporate all requirements into a design.
• Manage and prepare large assemblies, including parts list/BOM creation.
• Comply with all related specifications in the preparation of product definition, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent experience or training.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Office/open cubicle environment.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion with wrists/hands (keyboarding, mouse, phones).

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Typically none.
