Physical Therapist Aide
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a full-time Physical Therapist Aide. In this role, you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide exceptional care and support to our patients during their rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities:
• Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Aid patients during therapy sessions, providing assistance with exercises, transfers, and other activities as directed by the physical therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment details.
• Clean and organize treatment areas, exercise equipment, and supplies.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas as needed.
• Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and answering phones.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to print, scan, and send emails.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to assist with patient transfers and mobility.
