Position Summary:

Develop and Maintain comprehensive analytical Processes for New item setup to ensure timely and accurate information flow which assists in the Support of OMS period and seasonal surveys. Develop and Maintain Processes for tracking New item setup to ensure timely completion to Support the Category review and assortment Implementation schedule. Deliver clear and concise communication across all Areas of the Business to accomplish desired goals. Respond to issues, questions and concerns with urgency and accuracy.Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, Integrity, diversity, inclusion and Safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

• Review and confirm each New item request from the Category management team to ensure all necessary information is provided to the DIG group and RDIC for smooth set up. Track, follow-up (and troubleshoot as needed) every item through setup completion.
• Recommend Process Improvements to the Senior Category Management team as discovered and implement changes in Process as needed to improve timeliness and to meet deadlines.
• CrEate and Maintain strategic partnerships with Category Managers, suppliers and the RDIC that will allow Deli/Bakery to reduce cost and increase efficiencies in this Process.
• Partner with the Division Merchandisers in conjunction with respective Category Managers to ensure smooth setup of Regional DSD items. Follow up to ensure all related System down loads are completed to POS, Chaintracks, and scales (when necessary).
• Assist in the Coordination of communication to all parties when the New item setup is complete .i.e. Category Managers, Division Merchandisers, Sales Planning Coordinators and the Sales Planning team.
• Be responsible and own the Process of managing the Order Management Systems (OMS) for Deli/Bakery
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• 2 years comparable experience with New items, FOG, or other Mechandising Systems
• Division or Corporate Mechandising experience
• Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Exposure to Category Management Tools such as the KCMS Data Warehouse, Business Objects, Pricing and Sales Planning Tools, etc.

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Procurement or Analytical experience
• Division Mechandising or Financial experience
• Good Knowledge of Retail environment, as well as consumer and competitive market dynamics
• Division Perishable Coordinator or Mechandising Representiative
• Comparable position/ experience
