Kromer Investments Inc. is Hiring an Unit Turn Technician Near Reno, NV

The role of the Unit Turn Technician is to accomplish tasks designated to the Unit Turns Department, which includes the responsibility of the functions associated with:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite, as well as to other job sites
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 60lbs of material unassisted.
  • Demonstrate experience in carpentry to include but not limited to, installing doorknobs, cabinet hinges, shelves, blinds, and related items.
  • Display advanced competence in electrical repairs to include, replacing ceiling fans, change outlet covers.
  • Understand complex plumbing issues and the parts required to fix or install showers and toilets.
  • Perform full drywall replacement.
  • Manage Unit Turn Crew daily tasks and oversee their training.
  • Understand the installation, documentation, and repair of appliances to include, but
  • not limited to, refrigerators, water heaters, A/C units, microwaves, and dishwashers.
  • Perform advanced flooring removal and installation.
  • Administer and oversee the removal and demolition of countertops and cabinets.
  • Complete assigned repairs in accordance with unit timeline.
  • Displays understanding of all the components within the chain of parts that’s summation is a properly established unit.
  • Annotate necessary unit information for future work crews or other departments within the company, to include appliance serial numbers, problems outside of crew skill, and details for outside vendors.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Perform installation of plumbing systems and work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing systems pass inspections with tight connections and zero leaks.
