Job Details Job Location Commerce Towers - Dixon, IL Position Type Full Time Job Shift Days Job Category Rehab Services Description The Physical Therapist Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the Licensed Physical Therapist in the provision of physical therapy services in various settings. The Physical Therapist Assistant performs physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Hours: Day shift with alternating weekends 80 hours bi-weekly, 8-630 four days per week
Graduate of an accredited Allied Science Physical Therapist Assistant associate degree program.
Current Illinois State license or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois.
Must maintain a current level of Physical Therapy knowledge by attending continuing education courses; reading professional journals, and participating in required departmental in-services.
Current CPR.
Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association is recommended.
Required to share equally in the weekend and holiday work rotation.
Required to work in contract physical therapy facilities and make HHC visits as requested.
Must have dependable transportation available to make home visits and provide services in our contract facilities.
Must be able to work effectively with staff and patients; have above average guest relations; and must be able to work overtime when needed.

Offered pay rates will be determined by education, experience, and equity with current team members. Wears ID Badge at all times. When lifting heavy items always use proper lifting techniques. Addresses Employee/Patient incidents promptly, identifies and mitigates risks, follows Hand Hygiene guidelines, medication reconciliation (if applicable), and ventilator use (if applicable) all in accordance with KSB policies.
