In this role you will: - Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a home-based setting. - Teach clients with autism and other disabilities; communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting. - Collect data to monitor the progress of the clients. - Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals. - Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards set by the board and KT-ABA. - Respect our families preferences regarding PPE usage. - Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and written with clients, families, and colleagues. - Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops in addition to asking questions in order to acquire further knowledge. We are looking for people who: -Prefer prior experience in ABA and / or working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disorders / delays but not required. -RBT certification by the BACB, in good standing (Preferred but can be acquired during the hiring process ) -Are sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children. -Have the ability to remain calm and neutral in challenging situations with clients. -Have reliable means of transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance. -Have the ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods of time and be able to bend, kneel, crouch, and lift weight of up to 50 pounds. -Have a current and valid CPR certification. -Have successful background clearance, driving record check, and reference checks. -Have a high school diploma or equivalent; however, some college experience or a college degree is preferred. -HIPAA compliance training (can be done during hiring process) -Fluent English required What we offer: -Training on protocols and programming -Competitive hourly wage $18 (no experience)-$25 (has experience and is able to independently run assessments and provide quality training to new RBTS). -Self-paced raises- paper work turned in within 30 days of interview $1/hour, fluent bi-lingual $1/hour, learning new programs and successfully teach the program to another practitioner $1/hour per program, Graphing client data for minimum of 5 clients after training $1/hour, ect up to $25/hour -Flexible schedule -Career growth: the opportunity to move into Lead RBT, BCaBA, and BCBA
