KTeam is Hiring a Brand Marketing Manager Near Los Angeles, CA

We’re looking for an experienced Brand Marketing Manager with deep knowledge of the CPG, beauty, and wellness industries to join a successful and growing Los Angeles-based beauty brand!

Please note: this is an in-office role based in the company’s El Segundo office (requiring a minimum of 4 days in-office, with schedule flexibility around commute).

This role will oversee brand and growth strategies for go-to-market (G2M), social media, new product launches, and all brand initiatives across retail and ecommerce channels. Internally, you’ll work across departments to implement brand marketing plans you develop and ensure teamwide alignment and accountability toward the success of those plans.

Your deep understanding of the CPG space will enable you to creatively expand our existing brand footprint within the industry while seeing the future and laying the groundwork to achieve new growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand and Growth Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive brand and growth strategies for G2M, new product launches, brand refreshes, and all brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
  • Retail and E-Commerce Marketing: Oversee marketing initiatives across retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring cohesive and effective strategies to drive brand awareness and growth.
  • Social Media: Design and implement content strategies aligned with brand initiatives and ethos.
  • Team Management: Align team members toward brand and growth plans, ensuring accountability and day-to-day management. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Product Launches: Lead the planning and execution of new product launches, including market research, positioning, messaging, and promotional campaigns.
  • Go-to-Market (G2M) Strategies: Design and implement effective G2M strategies to ensure successful product introductions and market penetration.
  • Brand Initiatives: Develop and drive brand initiatives to maintain a modern, consistent, and compelling brand identity, enhancing brand loyalty and customer retention.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the founders, install teamwide reporting systems that offer regular updates on brand and marketing initiatives and performance.
  • Category Management: Oversee existing product categories, ensuring all team members meet their deliverables and timelines.
  • Marketing Calendar Planning: Develop and manage marketing calendars, including planning for new product launches, sales events, and engagement campaigns (e.g., Semi-Annual Sale).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, sales, creative, and digital marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective brand strategies.
  • Sales Tracking and Analysis: Track and analyze sales data, test new marketing ideas, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize performance.
  • Creative Support: Ensure the creative team has all necessary assets and resources to execute marketing plans effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field
  • 5 years of brand management experience, specifically within the CPG industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful CPG brand and growth strategies across retail and e-commerce channels.
  • Exceptional understanding of omnichannel brand marketing strategies, specifically social media.
  • Excellent eye for creative and ability to work with creative teams to bring the brand vision to life and appeal to the target consumer.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be available to work in-office in El Segundo, CA a minimum of 4 days-per-week.
