Role - Business Analyst - Payments (12 Years)

Location - Charlotte, NC ( Hybrid)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to payment systems.
• System Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of payment processes, identify areas for improvement, and design optimized payment solutions.
• Solution Design: Develop and present detailed business and functional requirements for payment solutions involving Fedwire, SWIFT, and CHIPS.
• Implementation Support: Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of payment solutions and assist with system integration and testing.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and solutions.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all payment solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Project Management: Lead and manage payment system projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new payment systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking and payments domain.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Fed wire, SWIFT, and CHIPS payment systems.
• Proficiency in business and systems analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of banking and payment processes and regulations.
• Experience with payment system integration, testing, and implementation.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex payment processes and propose effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing payment system projects.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
