KTI Talent Indicator is Hiring a Remote Account Payable Specialist - Remote USA
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review and verify invoices and check requests. Sort, code, and match invoices. Set invoices up for payment.
- Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Prepare and perform check runs.
- Expense Reports: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Vendor Management: Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Reporting: Produce monthly reports and assist with month-end closing. Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with developing and implementing new processes and procedures to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate historical records and ensure all records are maintained in a manner compliant with company and legal requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and support the overall financial health of the company.
- Experience: Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; relevant certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
