Kubala Engineers specializes in comprehensive structural engineering planning and design services, including but not limited to structural building and bridge design, structural renovations and retrofits, re-purpose/re-use studies, structural assessments, long-range master planning, maintenance planning, and forensic investigations. Our engineers have extensive experience and knowledge of structural engineering for education (K-12 and Higher Ed), commercial, religious, healthcare, sports & entertainment, hospitality, retail, and federal/government projects. As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will be assigned to work on a project team and assist the engineering team members in the execution of their project work.

- Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
- Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
- Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
- Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
- Good interpersonal skills to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-directed and organized with a strong work ethic.
- Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or other related field required.
- Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
- Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position
- A university student with who has completed at least through their junior year.
- Contingent upon a positive performance review, a successful intern that is a senior may receive an offer of full-time employment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
