Job Description Job purpose Oversees and produces quality product, on time and efficiently with assigned resources by supervising all associated man, machine and material production processes. Duties and responsibilities
Supervise and control the attendance and hourly tracking of assigned manpower
Populate, interpret safety, quality, bekidoritsu and productivity reports
Manage special projects outside of the normal daily production process
Prepare and present shop conditions for management and executives
Develop team members in process, job and skills knowledge
Develop Kaizen improvement throughout area and implement Kaizen projects
Investigate and understand process problems, forming root cause and countermeasures
Qualifications
Good communications skills
Positive team personality
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of mangers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Previous Manufacturing Experience
Engineering Degree
Previous Supervisory Experience
Graduation from 5-Gen NA Training
Working conditions Ability to work in extreme heat and cold. Ability to work in a loud environment. Physical requirements Ability to stand/ be on your feet for long periods of time and walk throughout the shop floor. Ability to sit at a desk. Ability to use hands/ fingers. Ability to reach with arms. Ability to operate power and hand held tools, complete repetitive tasks.
