KUBRA is looking for a UX Researcher to join our Product Design team!
As a UX Researcher at KUBRA, your primary responsibility will be to conduct user research and provide valuable insights to enhance the user experience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate user requirements into actionable research objectives and gather qualitative and quantitative data using various research methods.
As a UX Researcher, you will advocate for user-centered design. By effectively communicating your research findings and presenting design solutions, you will ensure alignment between user needs and business goals; your role will play a vital part in enhancing the overall user experience and contributing to the product success.
This is a hybrid role based out of our office in Tempe, AZ.What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Collaborate with Product Design, Product and Development to identify and prioritize research opportunities
  • Plan and execute mixed methods user-centered research, including generative interviews, concept-testing, surveys, evaluative unmoderated studies, and usability testing
  • Communicate results, translating findings into actionable recommendations and advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations
  • Actively participate in project and recurring team meetings
  • Contribute to the optimization of UX research processes and workflows to improve research efficiency
What kind of person should you be?
  • Conduct exceptional user experience research and provide high-quality insights to help discover, innovate, identify, and validate ideas through collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, recruit for and conduct mixed-methods research methodologies, and communicate findings to the stakeholders
  • Translating findings into actionable recommendations and advocating research findings to diverse audiences via presentations or async documentation
  • Advocate for user-centred design, aligning design decisions with user needs and business goals
  • Actively contribute to the optimization of UX research processes and workflows to improve research efficiency
What skills do you need?
  • Degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Information Architecture, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent level of practical experience is expected
  • 2 years of professional experience in mixed-methods user-centered research: Experience in 1:1 interviews, concept-testing, evaluative unmoderated studies, and usability testing
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Experience in collaborative work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs
  • Familiarity with the technology industry and UX research trends: Exhibit experience and knowledge of B2B practices and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in an agile development process and proficiency in various research methodologies, such as in-person and remote facilitation to identify user needs
