The Manager of Inventory & Logistics is the single point of accountability to develop, maintain, and modify MDI manufacturing supply and logistics plans for Inhalation Product Development projects.
**What you will do**
* Handles all logistics related to Manufacturing of R&D, non-clinical and clinical supplies linking the project team demand with the delivery of supply needs from vendors, operating sites, contract organizations, and the Durham, NC Manufacturing site
* Schedules work with other departments, such as analytical, clinical, vendors, and external teams to set up and maintain project plans and active dependencies.
* Handles key metrics of material transaction accuracy, material availability, obsolescence risk, on-time shipping, logistics total cost
* Manages working relationships with AZ sites and CMOs for manufacturing, testing, packing, and release of development and clinical batches.
* Maintains and monitors the project plan related to the flow of materials, the timing of manufacture. Coordinate with other planners across AZ functions and sites to ensure development project supply is maintained
* Oversees the Management of internal programs specific to the shipment log of raw materials, intermediate materials, finished products, and processing aids to various manufacturing, packaging, and stability sites.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree required
* Minimum of three years experience coordinating and organization of internal resources ensuring collaborations from multiple departments
* Strong computer skills and demonstrated experience with MS office
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Minimum of five years materials management /planning experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing
* Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems and ideally, inhalation products
