Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne Nagel, our Phoenix, AZ site is looking for a new Customer Care Specialist to join our Sea Logistics team.
Your Role
The Sea Import Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Sea Import shipments such as opening import files, production of internal documentation, updating import status, assisting, and advising customers of arrival, arranging deliveries, processing invoices (including price conversions and verifying shipment weight and volume) and handling e-mail queries from Kuehne Nagel overseas offices.
Your Responsibilities
* You will adhere to Kuehne Nagel policies and procedures. Ensuring that all work is carried out to pre-set service levels.
* Ensure all areas of Finance (Vendor Invoices, Clearing Invoices, FSL) are handled/maintained to a 1st class standard and all queries are addressed and resolved as soon as possible.
* You will maximize profitability on all files handled, being cost conscious at all times.
* Perform credit checks on all files according to Kuehne Nagel policy and escalate irregularities where appropriate.
* Ensure all filing, both physical and electronic, is done regularly and accurately.
* Ensure all correspondence, relevant to a specific job file, is kept in the job file at all times.
* Ensure that all actions are recorded on the job files.
Your Skills and Experiences
* 2 years of experience in Sea Logistics
* 2 years of experience in Customer Service
* You have the ability to travel for business 25% of the time.
* Good working knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities, seaport.
* Basic knowledge of U.S. Administration Regulations (FAA, FMC, EAR, Hazmat) and other government agency requirements.
* You have the ability to work a hybrid schedule. Reporting to the office 4 days per week, with Tuesday being a mandatory on-site day company wide.
