Your Role

The Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist supports Customers, external & internal, by providing helpful information, solutions, answering questions and responding timely and effectively, to the Customer’s requests & concerns.

They are the Customer advocate towards the US Operational Care Center and overseas Customer Care Locations to help ensure that Customers are satisfied with the Products & Services provided and their Customer Promise is fulfilled.

Your Responsibilities

• You will adhere to Kuehne Nagel policies and procedures. Ensuring that all work is carried out to pre-set service levels.
• You will maximize profitability on all files handled, being cost conscious at all times.
• Perform credit checks on all files according to Kuehne Nagel policy and escalate irregularities where appropriate.
• Ensure all filing, both physical and electronic, is done regularly and accurately.
• Ensure all correspondence, relevant to a specific job file, is kept in the job file at all times.
• Ensure that all actions are recorded on the job files.

Your Skills and Experiences

• 2 years’ relevant experience in Sea Logistics.
• 2 years' relevant experience with processing Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Than Container Load (LCL) shipments.
• You have the ability to work a hybrid schedule which requires you to report to the office 4 days and work remotely 1 day.
• You have the ability to travel.
• Good working knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities, seaport.
• Basic knowledge of . Administration Regulations (FAA, FMC, EAR, Hazmat) and other government agency requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; and PC skills.
