Your Role As our Transportation Specialist, you will contact and inform carriers of ongoing shipment issues to resolve them. You will provide support to distribution operations in all aspects of shipment organization, and freight consolidation, including handling designated administrative responsibilities as assigned. Your typical schedule will be Monday - Friday, Start and Stop times will vary.
Your Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders, plan & optimize shipments into loads, tender freight to third-party carriers
  • Track and trace all customer orders
  • Request and collect documents for compliance
  • Work with auditors and carriers to verify and try to resolve disputes
  • Maintain organized files for follow-up
  • Finalize transportation pricing and work with the operations team for processing
  • Work with carriers to resolve open shipment issues
Your Skills And Experiences
  • 3 years of experience preferred in truck transportation, truck brokerage, supply chain management, customer service
  • Prior experience coordinating transport schedules, performing technical reviews, and handling transportation planning
  • Skilled in preparing clear and concise documents such as reports, procedures, and correspondences
  • Willing to travel 20% on average
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
