JOB DESCRIPTION Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne Nagel, our Jamaica, Queens site is looking for a new Warehouse Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.

Your Role

As the warehouse agent you are responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading / unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment.

Your Responsibilities

• Use material handling (MH) equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers.
• Drive to and from airport to retrieve shipment
• Verify and receive materials into inventory
• Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit
• May also include palletizing and shrink-wrap.
• Duties may include receiving, checking and storing
• May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
• Use MH Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution
• Works from pick sheet to pull product or supplies.
• Check orders against pull sheets.
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Your Skills and Experiences

Schedule : 2nd Shift (3pm-12am or 4pm-1am Monday-Wednesday & Friday-Saturday)

This is a 24 / 7 / 365 facility. Flexibility to work any shift, weekday, weekend and / or holidays is required

• Minimum : High School or Technical degree
• 1 years of experience in a Warehouse experience
• Clean driver's license and experience driving a box truck (Non-CDL)
• Experience working with warehouse equipment (scanners, forklifts, etc)
