Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in providing a positive learning environment for students, focusing on educational and behavioral assistance.

Duties
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Aid in behavior management strategies and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers on classroom management techniques
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized educational and behavioral plans
- Support in lesson planning and preparation
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as needed

Qualifications

An Associate in Arts (AA) or Science (AS) degree or higher from an accredited institution recognized by the Hawaii Department of Education

The credits earned for the degree must include a minimum of 48 credits for courses that are baccalaureate level

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,668.30 - $3,122.44 per month
