BMW of Tigard/Holman Auto Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Detailer to join the Holman family as part of our central reconditioning team! What will you do? The Detail Technician is part of our centralized reconditioning team, which is a highly productive crew that details not only Kuni BMW vehicles, but also Kuni Auto Center and Kuni Lexus of Portland vehicles. The detail team is responsible for washing, polishing, and buffing the exterior of every car they detail or wash. This person is responsible for cleaning and vacuuming the interior of the cars as well. Customer Satisfaction is a huge part of our success story at Holman and our detailers play a key role in that, helping make sure our customer has a great first impression of the cleanliness and quality of our cars. This is an overview of the main duties of the role: Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles by washing, polishing, buffing, cleaning and vacuuming vehicles to dealership specifications. Properly maintain tools and equipment when performing details and correctly follow safety practices. Maintain tools and equipment when performing details and correctly follow safety practices. Properly complete flag tickets and charge the correct amount. Work toward achieving and maintaining excellent quality assurance and above market/district customer satisfaction scores. Check and maintain equipment, solvents and work area in general. Highly detail oriented and self-motivated. What are we looking for? High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Somebody who likes to be part of a team effort to detail all our vehicles to as good a condition as possible, as quickly as possible. Current valid driver’s license. Clean driving record, no blemishes. Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
